I record custom drum, percussion, and vibraphone tracks for all types of projects in my Los Angeles studio.

Using real drums and / or percussion for your project will result in a more musical and sonically superior final product than would be attainable through use of samples, loops, or drum machines.   Custom tracks complement a piece of music perfectly because they are performed and recorded exclusively for that piece of music, and will add to any music project and encourage everyone to turn up their mp3 players, digital hearing aids, and speakers to enjoy it.   My playing will lend uniqueness to your recording because the sounds, time feel, fills, and dynamics are all project-specific.

• Full multitrack files provided - (a typical drum kit configuration would be: Kick In, Kick Out, Kick Beater, Snare Top, Snare Bottom, Overhead L, Overhead R, HH, Rack 1, Rack 2, Floor Tom, Room.   Additional ambient or close mics available upon request).


• Stems with effects and processing provided in addition to multitrack files


• Sample rates up to 192 kHz


• Highest quality performance on well-tuned, amazing-sounding instruments


• Great sounding room, mics, preamps, and converters


• Files are well organized and easy to download and import into your session

If your project calls for programming rather than playing, I am also great at programming drum and percussion parts and have a HUGE library of stock and personalized sounds.

$100 is my normal fee for a song (up to five minutes in length) and this includes a reasonable number of revisions.   This price may vary somewhat (lower or higher) depending on the length and complexity of your project and the number of versions required.   Volume discounts may apply for multiple sessions.   Please contact me for an exact quote.
